Our Sweet Sisters Story

Sweet Sisters started with something that has always been at the center of our lives: each other. 💕
We're Liz and Shelley—sisters by chance, but best friends by choice.
We're each other's only sibling, we live just three miles apart, and we've always done life together. We travel together, laugh together, celebrate together, take care of our parents together, and somehow always find a reason to get together. Some of our favorite memories aren't necessarily the big occasions—they're the ordinary moments when we're simply together, laughing and having fun.
Over the years, we started talking about how much fun it would be to build something together. Not just a business, but something that felt like us—fun, colorful, a little sweet, and centered around bringing people together.
And that's where Sweet Sisters began.
A Family Story
There’s another part of this story that makes Sweet Sisters especially meaningful to us.
We grew up in a family where being there for one another mattered. And as our parents have gotten older, walking this season of life with them—and with each other—has made us appreciate that even more.
It’s reminded us that some of the sweetest parts of life really are the simplest ones: showing up, spending time together, laughing when you can, taking care of each other, and making memories along the way.
Sweet Sisters feels like a continuation of that family story. It’s something the two of us are building together, rooted in where we came from and in the values our parents gave us, but with a story all its own.
And maybe that’s why Life is Sweeter Together means so much to us.
It isn’t just a tagline.
It’s how we’ve experienced life—as sisters, as daughters, and now as partners building this next chapter together.

Sweet Sisters is our chance to take the friendship, laughter, and connection that have made our own lives sweeter and create a place where other people can find a little more of that, too.

Of Course, There Had to Be Candy.
Liz has always had a serious sweet tooth and an undeniable love of candy, so the “sweet” part came pretty naturally!
But Sweet Sisters is about much more than sweets.
We wanted to create a place in our community where people could stop in, grab something delicious, and enjoy being together. A place for sisters and best friends, parents and kids, teammates and coworkers, first dates and lifelong friends.
A place where an ordinary stop for a drink or a treat can become a little moment together.
